  Must stay!
Absolutely beautiful and room was lovely! Accidentally booked a transfer on the wrong day and reception couldn’t of been more helpful. She helped me call the agency, and then when that didn’t work out called around sorting us a ride to our next destination - would’ve been lost without her help!!

This venue was perfect! The hotel is small, so special attention can be given to every detail and has a spectacular view of the volcano. The surrounding gardens are beautiful and perfectly maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful, even when we arrived very late at night! The staff suggested activities that might interest us and helped us make reservations. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, with a choice of traditional Costa Rican or American food. This location felt like home by the time we left. Thank you to Melania and her staff for welcoming us. We will always remember our time there and will definitely visit again!

  Excelente experiencia
Fui con mi pareja a Hotel Vista del Cerro y fue una excelente experiencia... Disfrutamos mucho las zonas verdes que ofrecen, hay un pequeño bosque donde me conecté con la naturaleza. Por último el personal fue muy amable, nos ayudaron siempre con información y demás.

  Great place to stay
The room was very nice. The hotel was small so not overcrowded. But the best part was the excellent service. The receptionists helped us get cabs, buses and tours. There was a laundry service and housekeeping folded up the towels into little towel animals which was really cool.

Room with a perfect view straight to the volcano, very clean room/restroom, full wifi, nice location and delious food. the precious and relaxing garden was a success, if you make time you can ask for Melania and you will offer you the best deal for maximize the time in the area, she really know different places to go around the area.

  Un lugar acogedor y bonito
Nuestra visita fue genial, la pasamos muy bien en Hotel Vista del Cerro. El hotel tiene un jardín muy bonito y un arboreto donde hay especies de árboles en peligro de extinción. La ubicación es buena porque está cerca de todo. Y el personal es muy amable y nos recomendaron buenos lugares para ir, además el desayuno estaba muy rico. Esperamos volver pronto.

  Excellent Value
Great value, keeping in mind that this is a 2.5 star hotel. Comfy beds, very helpful and friendly staff, free wifi, and excellent food at the next-door restaurant. Theres a wood-fired pizza place across the street as well as a grocery store within walking distance.
